2011 WCR San Diego Chapter NOMINATIONS
The San Diego Chapter Nominating Committee is in the process of looking for leadership for the 2011 team.
The Governing Board positions are:
Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, VP of Membership and President-Elect.
The committee will be accepting applications through July 30th. We will then interview applicants and present the slate to the Governing Board. The names will then be presented to the general membership, and elections will be conducted at the September 16th Business Resource Meeting. If you decide to run from the floor at the September meeting, you must let the committee know in advance in order for them to qualify you as a candidate.
If you are interested in being considered for a leadership position, please review the attached information for an application and description/requirements of each of the positions. The information is also posted on the San Diego Chapter website, www.wcrsd.org.
I encourage all members to consider this opportunity to support our chapter by volunteering of your time and talent. Not only is serving in leadership very rewarding but it is also a great opportunity for your own personal and professional growth.
